PAST WISHES
WISHES GRANTED
Emiliano
Emiliano’s wish was to go to a Raider’s home game. he and his family adventured to Las Vegas and not only got to experience a Raider’s home game, but a VIP sideline experience, the New York New York roller coaster, dinner at Hard Rock Cafe, a visit to the Hollywood car Museum to see his favorite car from the Fast and furious movies and more!Rilyn
(age 16, SP) – Rilyn is a lovely young lady who’s favorite pass time is horseback riding! She has Mitral valve stenosis, and had open heart surgery in 2021, and unfortunately will eventually need to have a second one. In the meantime, Rilyn’s wish is to either go horseback riding with Chris Pratt or to attend the CMA’s in Nashville. We are working to make one of those wishes happen in 2023.
Matthew & Shane
(age 15, SP) – These twin brothers both suffer from Tourette’s; their verbal and physical ticks make everyday life complicated and sometimes embarrassing. But these boys take it all in stride, and continue to bring joy and light to everyone they meet! Shane wishes for a trip to Disneyland in California. Matthew wishes for a Gaming Room Makeover (which we are currently partnering with Brother’s Flooring to accomplish).
Chloe
(age 13, SP) – Chloe has a neuromuscular disease that makes going outside to play with the other kids painful and difficult. Over the years, Chloe has become a gamer kid, and her favorite character being Sonic the Hedgehog. So much so that she has a pet hedgehog named Kyle! Chloe wishes to have a room makeover, complete with a gaming computer and a new living space for Kyle! We’re partnering with SDSN to make Chloe’s wish a reality!
LaMarquise
(age 4, TC) – At first glance, LaMarquise aka Marqwan might seem like any other 4-year-old boy, he loves to play with hot wheels and is obsessed with all things Avengers, he is the baby of the family and brings laughter and joy to everyone around him! What is not immediately visible is the battle Marqwan has been fighting since he was six months old, against an incredibly rare, life-threatening genetic disorder to which there is no known optimal treatment. In his four short years Marqwan and his family have spent many hours, days, weeks and months in hospitals, at appointments and on calls trying to keep him safe and figure out the best way to manage his condition. Marqwan’s wish is to visit Disneyworld with his family.
Edward
(age 8, TC) – At first glance Edward seems like an average 8-year-old boy who loves Percy Jackson, video games, football and tortilla soup. He is silly and energetic, enjoys camping with his family, fishing and baseball. You wouldn’t know it just by looking at him, but this sweet little boy spent over 100 days in the hospital battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia over the course of two years. Edward dreams of visiting a “warm beach” with his family. So we are working on putting together a magical and memorable trip to California. Edward’s courage and hope inspire us, and we can’t wait to make his wish come true.
